Two Units Of The Fire Service Are Dealing With Flooding On The Northside Of The City
Crews were dispatched to Cathedral Road following reports that a major water pipe was leaking and leading to flooding on the Watercourse Road in Blackpool
Irish Water and Cork City Council are at the scene and have shut off the water main.
Cathedral road and Gerald Griffin St are closed to drivers and pedestrians and people are encouraged to stay away from the area.
Irish Water say repair works may affect supply in the area until 5pm today.
Crews are in attendance at a major burst main on Cathedral Road. @IrishWater and @corkcitycouncil personnel en route to isolate leak.
