Tyndall dispute looks set to spread
Industrial action by staff at Tyndall Institute looks set to spread as SIPTU prepare to ballot all 800 members at UCC.
Industrial action by staff at Tyndall Institute looks set to spread as SIPTU prepare to ballot all 800 members at UCC.
The dispute centres on claims there's a difference of pay between employees at the Institute and their counterparts on the UCC campus of between 10 to 20%.
It comes after the High Court this week granted an injunction to UCC to prevent staff placing pickets at some of the college's main entrances.
SIPTU say they've been left with no other option but to involve members at UCC.
AUDIO: Speaking to RedFM News Bill Mulcahy of SIPTU says the dispute has been going on too long.
