UCC students in Brussels relieved with plans to return home

The group are set to return to Ireland in the morning.
UCC students stranded in Brussels say they are counting down the hours until they return to Ireland.
The college confirmed they have arranged for the geography students to fly home in the morning.
The group arrived in the Belgian capital on Friday for an educational trip and have been on lockdown at a hostel in the city since the terror attacks yesterday.
UCC confirmed to RedFM News that a risk assessment was completed in advance of the students travelling to the Belgian capital and it was deemed to be safe.
The college says it will offer its full support to the students, including the University's counselling services, on their return to Cork.
Speaking to RedFM News from Brussels, UCC student Jessica Higginbotham says the new travel plans are welcome news.
