Ulster Bank to shed 100 jobs

The bank announced the job losses, as part of a restructuring plan
Staff at various branches of Ulster Bank have been told of the company's plans to shed another 100 jobs this morning.
The Bank says the job losses had previously been announced as part of a larger programme of restructuring.
The bank has 11 branches across Cork city and county and the company says it is hopeful they can make the cuts through voluntary redundancies.
Gareth Murphy from the Financial Services Union represents workers impacted by today's announcement.
He says staff were called into meetings this morning to be told and are finding it hard to process the news.
