Up To 500 Taxis Assembled In Blackrock This Morning For A Rolling Protest

They say over 22,000 jobs are at risk if the sector doesn't get support
Taxi drivers say they’ve been forgotten about and even though they’re on the front line transporting patients to and from hospital, their daily business has been decimated and they’ve been left with no support.
Cork taxi drivers are calling on the Taoiseach Micheál Martin to meet with them and put financial supports in place to protect them as the COVID19 outbreak continues to wreak havoc on their industry.
Speaking to RedFM News at this morning’s demonstration Chairman of the Cork Taxi Council Bobby Lynch says many taxi drivers have families and they don’t know how they’ll survive:
