Up To 650 Gardai From Cork Will Be Deployed To Clare Next Week

It comes ahead of the visit of US President Donald Trump
President Trump and First Lady Melania will arrive in Shannon airport on Wednesday following a 3 day state visit to the UK.
Over 1,500 Gardai will be on duty in Clare, as the President stays overnight at his golf resort in Doonbeg.
More than 300 Gardai are expected to be deployed from the city division. While others will be sent from Cork West and Cork North Garda divisions.
A meeting between President Trump and Taoiseach Leo Varadkar is expected to take place at Shannon, with a large number of protestors expected to attend to highlight their opposition to President Trump's foreign policies.
