UPDATE: Funderland Employee Released From CUH

The man sustained fractures and injuries to his hand and leg while constructing a roller coaster


A Funderland employee in Cork who was injured this morning in a workplace accident has been released from hospital 

The man in his 30's was working on the construction of a roller coaster on the Tramore Road when he was injured after he fell from a trailer used to transport components of the attraction.. . 

He sustained fractures and injuries to his hand and leg but he was released from Cork University hospital this evening 

The Gardai and the Health and Safety Authority were informed when the accident happened this morning and have mounted two separate investigations 
An inspector from the HSA has completed his examination of the scene
