UPDATE: Gardai Investigating fatal Macroom Shooting Have Arrested A Man

The victim was shot dead at a farm house in Raleigh at around 11.30pm
A man in his 60s been arrested by Gardai investigating the death of a 58 year old man in Macroom last night
The victim was shot dead at a farm house in Raleigh at around half 11 last night.
In the past hour Gardai confirmed that a man in his 60s was arrested and is currently being detained at Bandon Garda station under section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Gardai are following several lines of enquiry into this death and are investigating to see if the shooting was in any way linked to a local dispute and are appealing for anyone who was any information to come forward.
Speaking to RedFM News these locals in the town have expressed their shock at the news of another violent death in the area
