UPDATE: Gardai Issue Witness Appeal After Armed Post Office Raid

Two armed men made off with an undisclosed amount of cash following the raid on Little Island Post Office
Gardai are appealing for witnesses following an armed raid on a post office in Cork this morning
The robbery happened at the post office on Little Island at 9.10am - shortly after it had been opened
Two masked raiders one armed with what's believed to be a handgun and the other with an iron bar entered the post office and demanded cash
No shots were fired and the raiders made off with a small amount of cash in a waiting car..
Gardai have mounted a search for the getaway car a black 05 C registered Ford Mondeo which is damaged on either side. Detectives are currently trawling CCTV footage from the post office
No one was injured in the raid
