Update on Cork roads this morning

The advise from gardaí in the city is not to travel today.
Roads are lethal in the city and the South Ring is extremely dangerous with cars travelling in no more than second gear at the moment.
Slip roads off the South Ring are treacherous.
There is some movement in the city centre but again the advise from gardaí is not to drive today unless absolutely necessary.
The situation is much the same in the county with some raods completey cut off and secondary routes, particularly in rural areas, now described as a no-go.
