UPDATE on Kent Station
Iarnrod Eireann has confirmed that one person was injured but not seriously after part of the roof collapsed at Kent Station. A full investigation into the cause of the incident is underway. Eye witnesses are describing the scene around Kent Station this afternoon as a mini tornado. Houses and cars in the surrounding areas have been damaged and flying slates and debris have broken windows. Speaking to Cork's RedFM spokesperson Barry Kenny says they will reopen the station as soon as the scene has been made safe: (Click above for audio)
