UPDATE: Two injured in N71 crash

The collision involved a car and a truck.
Two people have been injured in a serious collision on the N71 Bandon to Clonakilty Road.
A truck and car collided approximately half a kilometre on the Bandon side of Peddlars Cross earlier this evening.
Emergency services responded to the incident and additional emergency services have been mobilised.
A male and a female - both occupants of the car - are being taken to Cork University hospital but the seriousness of their injuries it not yet known.
The N71 is closed on approach to the incident site, and Gardai are manning diversion routes.
The diversion routes in both directions are utilising minor road so motorists are advised to take extra care.
The road is closed off between Peddlers Cross and Hosford's Garden Centre with diversions in place on the Bandon side down by Whitegates.
Motorists are being advised to use alternative routes where possible and gardaí say diversions are likely to remain in place for at least several hours.
Garda forensics experts are carrying out a technical examination of the scene.
