Updated Parking Arrangements For Douglas In The Run Up To Christmas
The local authority has been providing one hour free parking in the area since a huge fire forced the closure of Douglas Village Shopping Centre.
Two hours free parking will be in place in Douglas from Monday November 11th to Tuesday December 31st.
There will be no parking charges on Saturdays or Sundays and normal parking arrangements will resume on January 2nd.
City Hall have also announced extended opening hours for Paul Street and North Main Street car parks as well as the Black Ash Park and Ride.
A temporary park and ride will also operate from County Hall at the weekends
