Vera Twomey Appeals To Ministers To Not Let Government Fall Before Attempts Made To Help Her Daughter Ava

A Cork mother is appealing to Ministers not to let the Government fall before something can be done for her seriously ill daughter.
It comes as Fianna Fail and Fine Gael remain at loggerheads over water charges, which it's feared may trigger the collapse of the government.
Vera Twomey is continuing her protest walk from Cork to the Dail this morning, in an effort to highlight the plight of her seven year old daughter Ava.
She says Ava needs medicinal cannabis in order to control seizures from a rare form of epilepsy, but the Government refused her application on the grounds that a pediatric neurologist didn't sign off on it.
Speaking to RedFM News Vera Twomey says the Government should not be allowed to fail before she gets help for her daughter:
