Vera Twomey protests outside the Dail with Cork supporters
A group of people have travelled from Cork to take part in a protest which is being mounted outside the Dail around now by a Cork woman campaigning for the legislation of medicinal cannabis.
Vera Twomey says she has no choice but to stage another demonstration, after her recent 290km walk to the Dáil, because nothing has changed and her daughter's life is at risk.
Vera has long been campaigning for the introduction of legislation for medicinal cannabis for her seven-year-old daughter Ava who suffers from a rare form of epilepsy and needs the drug to help alleviate her seizures.
Speaking to RedFM News Vera Twomey says the ball is firmly in the Minister's court.
