Vera Twomey to walk again tomorrow to highlight medicinal cannabis campaign

A Cork mother is to walk for her daughter tomorrow in her long running campaign for the legalisation of medicinal cannabis

Vera Twomey's seven-year-old daughter Ava suffers from a rare form of epilepsy and has multiple seizures each day.

Last month Vera mounted a protest march from Cork to the Dail after her application for medicinal cannabis was rejected on the grounds that a paediatric neurologist hadn't signed off on it.

Vera says she has no choice but to continue her campaign for Ava and she's urging people to join her tomorrow on her march which leaves the Grand Parade at 2pm 

Speaking to RedFM News Vera says she hopes tomorrow's walk will send a mesage to the Health Minister:
