Vera Twomey's daughter to begin medicinal cannabis treatment in Holland
A medicinal cannabis campaigner who walked from Cork to Dublin to raise awareness says her daughter will begin treatment in Holland today.
Vera Twomey's child Ava suffers from a severe form of epilepsy called Dravet Syndrome, and the family say she can be treated with medicinal cannabis oil.
The Aghabulloh woman posted a video to Facebook confirming the seven-year-old is to begin receiving CBD and THC medication today:
