Verdicts of accidental deaths returned for victims Cork aircrash

One of the survivors of the 2011 fatal Cork Air crash says he hopes that the safety recommendations made by the Air Accident Investigation will be implemented... Laurence Wilson was speaking after today's inquest into the deaths of six people on board the Manx 2 flight which returned verdicts of accidental deaths... The flight from Belfast crashed in thick fog as it was preparing to land at Cork Airport over three years ago. The jury had heard evidence from some 15 witnesses over two days including the Air Accident Investigation Unit.. The 240 page AAIU report took almost three years to prepare and contains 11 safety recommendations which are currently under consideration Laurence Wilson told RedFM News that he hopes the recommendations will be implemented in an effort to help prevent another accident Click PLAY to hear audio
