VEX Robotics Team From Kinsale Community School Scoop Award In The US

The team represented Ireland at the VEX World Championships in Kentucky

The VEX Robotics Team From Kinsale Community School have returned home to Ireland from the US after scooping an award at the VEX World Championships in Kentucky.. 

The team, comprising of eight 16-year-old transition year students, who were representing Ireland at the event, won the Community Award which is awarded to the team which demonstrates extraordinary community involvement and awareness...

The team from KCS were chosen for the award out of 597 teams that competed in the event 
 
The group got the opportunity to take part in the World Championships in the US after their project scooped an excellence award at the VEX Robotics competition held at CIT earlier this year
