Visiting restrictions have been imposed at one ward at Cork's Mercy University Hospital due to a flu outbreak...
St Mary's Ward has been closed to all visitors until further notice in the interest of patient safety.
All other sections of the hospital are open but the hospital has appealed to members of the public not to visit if they have had flu like symptoms in the previous four days.
The situation will be continuously reviewed.
