Visitor restrictions remain in place at Cork University Hospital amid an outbreak of the winter vomiting bug

The HSE says Cork University Hospital has been monitoring the situation on an ongoing basis and there are a number of cases with suspected Norovirus Infection on the inpatient wards. 

The hospital has taken the decision to impose a ban on all visitors however an exception is being made for parents of children and relatives of those who are critically ill.
