Warning issued to social media users
Social media users have been issued a warning. It's after Sally Bercow agreed a settlement with Lord McAlpine over a message she posted on Twitter. The High Court in London has ruled the tweet about the former Conservative politician was libellous. The Commons speaker's wife sent it two days after a BBC Newsnight programme wrongly implicated the politician in child abuse allegations. Lord McAlpine's solicitor Andrew Reid said the judgement should act as a social media warning. Click PLAY button above to hear audio
