Weather Warnings Issued For Cork

Storm Gareth is set to hit Ireland

Three separate weather warnings have been issued ahead of the arrival of Storm Gareth to Ireland.

A status yellow rainfall and wind warning has been issued for Cork, with gusts of up to 110km/h and some localised flooding, especially along the coast

The rainfall warning is in place from 6pm today until 6am tomorrow, while the wind warning is valid from midday tomorrow (Tuesday) until midday Wednesday

Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo will be under an orange wind warning from noon tomorrow, with gusts of up to 130 km/h expected.
