Wet weather prompts road safety warning

Met Eireann is predicting 25 mm of rain to fall over the next 24 hours prompting a reminder from Gardai to drive at speeds appropriate to the conditions. One quarter of all fatalities that took place this year happened on a Friday and the hours between 2 and 6 in the afternoon is peak time for accidents.
