Wind, rain and snow batter Cork
A status Orange weather warning is in effect across the city and county this morning as heavy winds and rain battered Cork last night. Sleet has fallen in parts of North Cork over the last few hours while the rest of the county experienced high winds and heavy rain over night. Two other weather warnings are in effect across the country and the bad weather is forecast to continue until tomorrow morning. Motorists are advised to drive with extreme care this morning.
