Woman airlifted to CUH after fall near Nohoval Cove

A woman in her 20s has been airlifted to Cork University Hospital after falling on a cliff walk near Nohoval Cove.
The alarm was raised before 4pm and the Irish Community Rapid Response air ambulance responded.
The Echo reports the Coastguard also attended with the help of the R117 helicopter as it had the necesscary equipment to airlift the woman from the pathway.
The woman was also treated for her injuries at the scene by members of the Oysterhaven and Summercove coast guard units
It's understood the woman has sustained serious leg injuries.
