Woman Fights For Her Life After Housefire
A woman is continuing to fight for her life at CUH after a house fire in Cork city over the weekend. The woman in her late forties suffered serious burns when she fell asleep smoking a cigarette at her house at Mary Aikenhead Place in Gurranabraher. It's the second incident of this type on the northside of the city in the past few weeks. And Gardai are urging smokers to be aware of the dangers of lighting up at night - when your're feeling tired.
