Woman shot dead in Cavan
A 56 year old woman has been shot dead and a man has been arrested after a siege in Co Cavan. The man - also aged 56 - was detained in the early hours of this morning in Baileborough - after a lengthy stand off. The body of the mother of 4 remains at the scene this morning.
