Woman Suffers Neck and Back Injuries After Being Struck By Masonry Falling From A Building On Patrick Street

The woman was walking to work when she sustained the injuries after the masonry fell from a height from the Superdry store.
She was wearing a backpack and that bore the burnt of the impact of the falling brick and wood.
Emergency services were alerted and the woman was taken to hospital for treatment and the scene was cordoned off by firefighters who conducted a full inspection of the building.
The street around the store was closed for a time to allow the inspection take place
The injured woman was later discharged from hospital.
