Work Has Begun To Remove The Rubble On The Site Of The Former Tax Office Building On Sullivan's Quay
The building was demolished over a year ago
Workers were seen clearing the rubble last week.
BAM Constructors have planning permission for a large 220-bed hotel and office development on the site.
The 12-storey cylindrical tower will be Cork's largest hotel, and is expected to deliver an estimated €60m to Cork's economy every year.
