Work on Cork's €50 million Events Centre is set to begin after Easter
Demolition experts have visited the former Beamish and Crawford brewery site on South Main Street in recent weeks and are finalising detailed plans for site clearance work
The construction of the 6,000 seater Events Centre, which is projected to take up to 2 years, will lead to the creation of hundreds of new jobs along with enabling the city to host large events all year long.
Once it is completed the Events Centre is expected to host up to 200 performances a year and bring a €15 million economic boost to the region on an annual basis...
Work is well unde rway on the former Capitol Cinema site which is set to transform the Grand Parade and has been broadly welcomed by business leaders in the city...
