Works due to get underway at West Cork Harbour
It's expected they will begin before the end of February.
Multi-million euro works on Bantry Harbour are due to get underway before the end of the month.
It follows the appointment of BAM Civil Limited as the main contractor for the first phase of the development yesterday.
The 8.5 million euro upgrade will be funded by the Department of Transport and the Post of Cork and it's hoped the project will be completed by autumn 2017.
Speaking to Cork's RedFM, Port of Cork Harbour Master Paul O'Regan outlines some of the developments planned.
