Youghal Post Office To Transfer To A Third Party But Will Not Close

Services at the branch will be unaffected by the change
An Post says it has no plans to close any Post Office.
It comes as management at Youghal Post Office say it will transfer to a third party but will not close and the services at the branch will be unaffected by the change
An Post says Postmaster runs "the vast majority" of Irish Post Offices, and the change will not affect services.
In September it was reported that An Post was seeking to close 400 branches, mainly in rural areas, leaving just 700 in operation around the country
No timelines for the closures has yet been announced
