A disappointing start for Cork in their Munster Senior Hurling Championship Campaign in Páirc uí Chaoimh yesterday.

The Rebels lost out by 7 points to Tipperary, the Premier scoring 2-24 from play in their 2-28 to 1-24 win.

John "Bubbles" Dwyer was named man of the match with a seven point haul for the 2016 All Ireland champions.
