Audio: Ray Houghton Speaks Ahead of Challenge Match

Crosshaven Legends vs Republic of Ireland Masters Team 3pm, Camden, Crosshaven
Crosshaven AFC are hosting a challenge match between Crosshaven Legends and the Republic of Ireland Masters team in Camden. The game marks the 25th anniversary of the heroic Italia 90 Irish side but will also raise funds for Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, raise awareness of prostate cancer and also raise funds for the redevelopment of the grounds.
The match will feature many former senior internationals such as Tony Cascarino, Packie Bonner, Ray Houghton, Ronnie Whelan and Mark Kinsella. Playing for the Crosshaven Legends will be numerous players who have contributed greatly to the club in the past such as former Cork City goalkeeper Jim Mulcahy as well as former Cork City captains Dave Barry and Greg O'Halloran.
The day promises to be a wonderful event for all the family and ahead of the match, former Liverpool star and Irish goalscoring hero Ray Houghton dropped into the studio for a chat.
He spoke to Red FM Sport about Ireland's current squad, expectations for Liverpool ahead of the new season and about the day itself.
