Bere Island GAA

"In some games, our corner forwards were a 42 year old and a 47 year old" Bere Island GAA club are a Junior B side competing in the Beara championship in West Cork. We profiled Bere in our AIB Club Focus this weekend, and current goalkeeper Derek Harrington called into studio to tell us a bit more about the club. He spoke about the fascinating history of the club, the age gap in the panel, the new facilities and winning the Beara Junior B in 2008. It's a great gaelic games story, well worth a listen.
