Cork's Conor Hourihane is one win away from the Premier League.
The Bandon midfielder scored Aston Villa's first penalty in their shoot out win over West Bromich Albion, after Albion's 1-0 win saw the tie finish 2-2 on aggregate.
Villa will now play Leeds United or Derby County, who meet tonight.
Leeds hold a 1-0 advantage from the first leg - kick off is at 7.45.
