Noelle Murray broke the deadlock for the Pandas in the first after good work down the right before the Raheny player hammered the ball past Trish Fennelly. Despite some heavy pressure throughout the first period, the score remained one nil at the half. However, things quickly turned sour for City in the second half as first Rebecca Creagh added a second not long after the restart to leave the Leesiders chasing a two goal deficit. The champions class shone through in their third goal as a Pearl Slattery header from a Katie McCabe free kick beat Fennelly, before the best player on the park McCabe grabbed her own goal from a Catherine Cronin cross. Next up for Cork City is a home game against Castlebar Celtic in Bishopstown Stadium on Saturday the 13th December at 2 o'clock.
