McCarthy Picks Squad For Euro 2020 Qualifiers

Ireland play away to Gibraltar on Saturday March 23rd

Republic of Ireland manager Mick McCarthy has named his provisional squad for the Euro 2020 qualifiers against Gibraltar and Georgia. 

Former Cork City striker Sean Maguire has been named alongside Shane Long, Ronan Curtis, and Scott Hogan.

Sunderland defender Jimmy Dunne, Newport County's Padraig Amond and Luton's James Collins have all been included while Stephen Ward and Aiden McGeady return. 

McCarthy's also called up Liverpool 'keeper Caoimhin Kelleher, Macclesfield's Kieran O'Hara and Bournemouth's Mark Travers to provide cover to Kieran Westwood and Darren Randolph between the posts.
