Midleton CBS crowned Harty Cup champions

For the first time since 2006 Midleton CBS are the Harty Cup Champions.
The east Cork school were crowned Champions at a packed Pairc ui Rinn on Saturday, defeating fellow Cork school CBC in the final.
And after losing last year's final to Ardscoil Rís, captain Dylan Hogan said they were determined to go one better this year
"The fact that we lost last year, we couldn't leave it go.
"The management just said one thing - take it game by game. It doesn't matter what was ahead of us - just take each game as it comes. And that's what we did."

In the opening game St Francis College Rochestown defeated Hamilton High School Bandon in the Tom Collum Cup Final.
