Rebel Óg May - Michael Cahalane
The Rebel Óg Award winner for May is Cork Minor Dual star Michael Cahalane. The highly rated Cahalane is a standout for Bandon GAA club and Hamilton High School, and he is also an inter county star. The 17 year old old will line out for Cork in the Munster minor hurling semi final in a few week's time, and was also part of Ephie Fitzgerald's minor football team that lost to Tipperary in the Munster minor football semi final. Cork's RedFM are media partners to the Rebel Óg awards, which are designed to recognise the achievements of players and teams at underage level. Cahalane spoke to Cork's RedFM at the awards ceremony earlier this week.
