Results & Reaction from County Championships

The Cork County Championship action saw some big games in the Premier Intermediate and Intermediate Championships last night.

In the Premier Intermediate Football, St Michaels progress to the semi finals after their quarter final replay win over Kiskeam, it finished 1-13 to 1-8 in Donoughmore.

In their Intermediate quarter final Kanturk and Cill Na Martra finished all square at 1-10 to 0-13, meaning the sides will have to meet again next Sunday September 27th in Millstreet at 3.30pm. Extra time will be played in the event of a draw in that game.

There was a Hurling double header at Pairc Ui Rinn last night.

Valley Rovers booked their place in the Premier Intermediate Championship Final against Newcestown with a 1-14 to 0-15 win over Ballinhassig.

Charleville recorded a comprehensive win over Fr O'Neills to book their place in the Intermediate Hurling Championship Final, this one finished 1-28 to 1-8.

Charleville will now meet Dripsey in the Intermediate Final.
