Cork City boss John Caulfield has conceded defeat in the title race.

His side were beaten 3-1 by Saint Pat's last night in Dublin, while leaders Dundalk won 3-0 away to Longford.

The result means City are 7 points behind Dundalk with just three games to play.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho stood by his defensive tactics after holding rivals Liverpool to a goalless draw at Anfield in the Premier League.

They managed just one shot on target throughout the game - but United goalkeeper David De Gea only had two serious saves to make.

Later tonight, the focus returns to the group stages of the Champions League.

Tottenham go to Bayer Leverkusen  in Germany.
