The Clare Hurlers will have a new Manager in 2017, as Davy Fitzgerald last night confirmed he was stepping down from the role.
In a statement, the 45 year old said following consultation with player representatives he felt it was in the best interest of Clare Hurling to step down.
During his time in charge, Fitzgerald led the Banner to the 2013 All Ireland title win over Cork, as well as their first National League title in almost 40 years last season.
