Ireland step-up their preparations for Euro2016 later tonight as they play host to The Netherlands in a warm-up friendly.

The visit of the Dutch is one of just two matches for manager Martin O'Neill to finalise his tournament squad, with another match against Belarus next Tuesday at Turners Cross.

England manager Roy Hodgson is set to hand a debut to Marcus Rashford as they play Australia at the Stadium of Light with Northern Ireland beginning their Euro2016 preparations as they host Belarus at Windsor Park.

All of those games will kick-off at 7:45.

It's expected Jose Mourinho will be paraded as the new Manchester United manager later.

He's signed a contract to take over at Old Trafford.

Graeme McDowell and Shane Lowry are just four shots off the lead at the start of day two at the BMW PGA Championship.

Cork Midfielder Daniel Kearney has taken to social media to deny rumours that he has left Kieran Kingstons panel in the wake of Sunday's Munster Championship defeat to Tipperary.

The Sarsfields clubman tweeted last night dismissing speculation, saying that rumours suggesting he had left the Rebel set up were "totally false" with "no basis".

Kellie Harrington will become just the fifth Irish boxer to contest a senior world championship final this morning when she returns to the ring at the Women's World Championships in Kazakhstan.

The Dubliner will face the Asian Light Welterweight champion Wenlu Yang of China for the gold medal.
