Stephen Kenny to name Ireland squad

Republic of Ireland boss Stephen Kenny will name his squad for the Euro 2020 playoff with Slovakia today.
Kenny will name his squad at about 1pm in Abbotstown for the game in Bratislava on October 8th.
Cork's Conor Hourihane provided a timely reminder of his abilities last night, scoring one and setting up another in Aston Villa's 3-0 win away to Fulham.
The Bandon native is likely to be joined in the squad by fellow Corkmen Alan Browne, John Egan and Adam Idah.
Former Ringmahon Rangers goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher is unlikely to be included due to the Under 21s qualifier with Italy on October 13th, while former Cork City striker Seani Maguire is also set to miss out - the Kilkenny native wasn't included in Kenny's original squad last time out for the games with Bulgaria and Finland, but received a call up due to injury.
Shamrock Rovers midfielder Jack Byrne could receive a call up - Kenny was on hand to witness his performance against AC Milan in the Europa League qualifier in Tallaght.
