A Blog post entitled "The Off Season Doesn't Exist" written by a former Chairman of Cork City and CEO of Athlone Town and Limerick FC, got quite a bit of attention online this week. It rather honestly addresses several of the challenges faced by League of Ireland clubs over the winter months, as they try to generate revenue for the new season, tie up managerial and player contracts, and deal with licensing matters.
