Want to join the RedFM Sport Team?

Cork’s RedFM is looking for a part time broadcast sports journalist to join their award winning team.
The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of all sports, from GAA, rugby, soccer and more, be fun and outgoing and have a strong radio voice.
Knowledge of the Burli software package and Adobe Audition is desirable but not essential, while the preferred candidate should have a full, clean driver’s licence.
Duties will include but are not limited to :
- Preparation and delivery of hourly sports bulletins
- Assisting in the production and broadcast of the Big Red Bench, RedFM’s award winning sports show
- Covering matches and press conferences
Interested parties should send their CVs and a short demo to sport@redfm.ie by the close of business on Friday March 31st, with interviews to be conducted in early April.
This is a 5 month, 20 hours per week contract running from May to September.
