New Pirates Of The Caribbean Movie Being Held At Ransom By Hackers

The brand new Pirates Of The Caribbean movie is reportedly the latest victim of an online ransom.
The latest installment of the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise is set to be released on May 26th but is now apparently being held to ransom by hackers.
It was announced yesterday by Disney CEO Bob Iger that one of it's movies had been pirated with hackers threatening to release the movie in different stages before it's release unless Disney pay a sum of money through Bitcoin.
Iger didn't confirm which specific movie was in question but it is being reported that it is the upcoming Pirates Of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge starring Johnny Depp.
Disney are refusing to pay the ransom and are co-operating with the FBI in the investigation.
The first four Pirates Of The Caribbean movies grossed a total of $3.7 billion for Disney globally.
