Only Two Acts Have Fortune Increase In Latest Pop Rich List

The latest UK & Ireland Pop Rich List has been released.
U2 have increased their wealth by €4 million in the last year with a little help from the re-release of their Joshua Tree album to mark it's 30th anniversary. The Dublin rockers will also take on a huge tour to honour the occasion, playing a North American and European tour including a sold out show at Croke Park. The band now have a combined wealth of €645 million.
Adele was the only other act to add to their fortune, gaining €38 million after her third album release and mammoth 122-date world tour which took in €165 million at the box office. She is now the richest musician under 30 as she comes in joint 19th on the rich list with Queen's Brian May, with both artist now worth €147 million.
Dancer Michael Flatley's wealth dropped by €19 million although he is still joint eighth on the list alongside The Beatle's Ringo Starr at the cool figure of €235 million.
Topping the list is Ringo's former bandmate, Paul McCartney and his wife Nancy Shevell. Despite his fortune dropping by €56 million last year the singer-songwriter still holds the top spot with €918 million in the bank.
